'62C Models' is a small personal venture into

7mm O-Gauge

modeling brought about by a long standing friendship with George Dawson, who designed and marketed the highly acclaimed Majestic Models range of North British Railway kits. George produced 7mm kits for what was to become LNER classes C15, D32, J35, J36, J37, J83, and N15. Each of these kits were provided with brass buffer housings and an abundance of lost wax brass castings, producing fine models with robust detailing parts. Most of these kits are now available from Connoisseur Models (albeit with more white-metal components). Since there was no N14 in the Majestic range of kits, this seemed a logical addition to the North British stud and living in Dunfermline, 62C (the old shed code for Dunfermline) seemed a logical name to bring the project together under. All photographs within this website are copyright of Peter Mullen with the exception of those illustrating Paul Moore Painting (which are copyright of Paul Moore).

Please remember THIS IS NOT my JOB as I am employed by the University of St Andrews Medical School to carry out clinical research.

. . . NORTH BRITISH RAILWAY TRANSFERS NOW AVAILABLE . . . .

Despite trying to keep prices static for as long as possible, increased costs (resulting mainly from Photoetch closing down) have seen the price of etched brass increase from 33 GBP to 51 GPB per sheet (up 35 per cent). In addition, a number of sequential price increases for castings and Slaters wheels have together rendered the coach kits non-viable in their current format. It is therefore NO LONGER POSSIBLE TO INCLUDE WHEELS in the the coach kits but they can be purchased separately. ALL kits will therefore be subject to price increases as stocks are replenished.
